My client has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their organisation on a Fixed Term Contract for 24 months. The primary focus of the role will be to support the migration of fixed telephone and broadband connectivity from copper-based analogue solutions to digital technologies. The role
1. Manage and optimise the IT infrastructure to meet performance requirements, improve services, and enhance security.
2. Specify and implement contracts for equipment, products, and services to deliver a cost-effective, resilient, and secure IT infrastructure.
3. Manage and deliver projects ensuring they are planned, governed, financed, and resourced to meet time, quality, and budget requirements.
4. Monitor and report on the performance, capacity, and health of the IT infrastructure, developing action plans to maintain or improve service.
5. Support the CAB process for managing changes to the live production ICT environment and contribute to Business as Usual (BAU).
6. Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to identify and make improvements to Strata’s service delivery and performance.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of infrastructure technologies, products, legislation, and best practices, providing advice and recommendations to Strata leaders.
8. Supervise external contractors and provide coaching and training to colleagues, while also contributing to the Service Improvement Plan.
The requirements
1. Demonstrated experience with digital communication and network technologies.
2. Knowledge of the latest IT technologies that can be integrated to deliver a world-class IT Infrastructure.
3. Understanding of modern architecture design, based on ITIL principles.
4. Project Management IT governance processes.

Salary - £37,336.00 - £40,221.00
