About the role
As the digital business continues to grow at a fast pace, there is now a need for an experienced Digital Marketing and CRM Manager who will report into the Head of Digital at our Head Office in Poole, Dorset.
The Digital Marketing & CRM Manager will be responsible for the ongoing traffic management of digital marketing activities on Muc-off.com and EU / US websites. This hybrid role spans performance marketing via affiliates, paid social, PPC, all SEO activities, and existing first-party database growth and trading, including the conception and growth of email automation and segmentation. Experience in ad creative is a must, as working closely with our design and content teams to craft compelling ads at all stages of the marketing funnel is a vital part of the role.
Key responsibilities
* To establish and implement a digital, consumer-focused CRM strategy globally – to reduce acquisition costs and work our existing customer base harder.
* To create database-building campaigns, working closely with our marketing department.
* To implement regional and category segmentation for our consumer database and roll out compelling automations based on data patterns.
* To manage our performance marketing agency, setting targets and scrutinising the performance of our paid channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, and Microsoft.
* To lead and report on SEO activities globally, exploiting long-term opportunities via onsite optimisation and close collaboration with our PR team for outreach activity.
* To identify and implement new and emerging digital revenue streams, think TikTok shop, social commerce, and subscriptions.
* Become the owner of digital creative ads from top-of-funnel YouTube to META re-targeting creatives; you will oversee all creative implementation, setting briefs for design and content teams.
* Lead on the running of our community-loyalty programme, helping our fans create compelling UGC and working it back into outreach ads.
* Create compelling reporting using GA and Shopify reports which is not just informative but also actionable.
* Lead and conduct experiments to enrich our knowledge through data – be that on email marketing creatives, PPC ad copy, or Instagram Reel creative.
* Work closely with the Digital Experience manager to craft a market-leading end-to-end experience representing the brand at all touch-points.
What We're Looking For
An experienced digital leader with extensive experience in digital marketing acquisition and retention strategy, who lives and breathes ROAS with the ability to adapt and evolve as the job demands require.
Experience in working in a cross-functional, multi-discipline organisation. The ability to influence and drive the digital agenda is paramount amongst design, content, marketing, and sales functions.
Extensive experience managing external agencies and tools of the trade such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Dot Digital, flows, automations, and Google marketing tools.
Must-haves
* Degree-level educated.
* Digital Leadership Experience from strategy to people.
* Expert Knowledge of consumer CRM and Email marketing strategies including automations or flows.
* Experience in Shopify plus or very similar platforms.
* Experience of product and service launches and management.
* Experience building and scaling a team to meet global demand.
* Very strong digital marketing knowledge from SEO to PPC and UGC to CRM.
* A D2C Pioneer with retail experience.
* Proven Experience leading on-site SEO initiatives, ultimately building a strategy and reporting on success.
* Expert knowledge of Google ads, merchant centre, GA4.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the business.
* Experience in content reporting including KPI measurement and CRO recommendations.
* Experience running A/B experiments.
* Expert knowledge of the marketing funnel and ad creative design for the right audience at the right stage.
* Experience of digital marketing attribution.
* Experience of Dot Digital and/or Klaviyo or similar.
* A keen interest in cycling or powersports.
* SEO knowledge both on and off site.
* Experience in Yotpo rewards.
