The existing building is being redesigned to create abright, vibrant, and stimulating learning environment. Our new nursery will feature modernised facilities and high-quality resources, ensuring that our youngest learners have access to the same excellent standards as the rest of the academy.
We’re ideally looking for a Nursery Teacher to join our team, but we are also open to applications from those with Reception experience as we are flexible with staffing across both the nursery and Reception classes.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for Early Years education and is dedicated to providing a nurturing, inspiring learning environment.
• Will contribute to the development of our new nursery, shaping the curriculum and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Can work collaboratively with the Early Years team to ensure a smooth transition for children from nursery to Reception.
• Will support and enhance the strong foundation we’ve already built at Leigh Academy High Halstow.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust:As of 1st April 2024, our Trust comprises 33geographically organised academies (17secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff. Nearly 40% of our academies are judged outstanding overall by Ofsted, versus 15% nationally. The Trust is establishing three‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT West; LAT North.
