Senior Project Engineer - 18-Month Contract An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Engineer to join an 18-month contract based in Annan, working on critical engineering projects within a regulated environment. This role involves a 4-day work week, with the possibility of one remote day once training is completed. Location: Annan (4-day week, with potential for 1 remote day/week post-training) Duration: 18 months Rate: Umbrella £46.85 per/hr Role Responsibilities: Identify functional project requirements and coordinate stakeholder needs. Lead engineering support across the project, supporting Project Execution Plans, design, and commissioning strategies. Manage and approve technical specifications and detailed design activities. Ensure design authority standards are maintained throughout project phases. Prepare modification proposals and supervise technical work, including contractor assessments and risk management. Oversee construction and commissioning to meet design intent and compliance standards. Ensure proper handover to operational systems, with full documentation and training provided.Skills and Experience Required: EC&I Experience: Demonstrated electrical, instrument, and control expertise within industrial plant environments. Project Engineering: Extensive background in nuclear or conventional project engineering, with a strong emphasis on design management, safety, and commissioning. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in fault finding, testing, and configuration control within regulated environments.
