Reporting to the Head of Direct Sales, the NTBM position is responsible for the entire bidding process, identifying opportunities and submitting winning proposals. This is a field based role. Salary up to £50k, negotiable depending on experience. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The main responsibilities of the role include: Creating and executing bid strategies that align with the company's objectives and client requirements. Writing tenders and reviewing documentation to secure new contracts. Managing resources and ensuring compliance. Coordinating with vendors and other managers to agree on bid details. Creating comprehensive bid documents that are accurate and adhere to guidelines. Gathering and analysing bid and tender feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Developing a reporting suite. Regularly refreshing the bid content library with CVs, case studies, policies, and more. Identifying tender opportunities by monitoring relevant hubs and portals Have a targeted approach to those opportunities that will have the most impact on our business, Working closely with National Key Account Managers (NKAMs). Working closely with the Product & Services Team to ensure we are promoting the latest products. Working closely with the Marketing team to produce professional documentation. Providing feedback on product and services resulting from analysis. Staying up to date on industry trends. Being available to attend meetings with Head of Direct Sales and or NKAM. Always keep the customer & prospect database up to date. PERFORMANCE MEASURES: 1-2-1 reviews with Head of Direct Sales Agreed bid performance and analysis measures will be in place. ABILITY AND SKILLS PROFILE: Experience of managing tenders in the Automotive Industry and/or Finance Industry. An in-depth knowledge of Funding and Fleet Management solutions Self-motivated individual with strategic and commercial awareness possessing both presentation and persuasive skills. Proven experience of working in a pressurised environment, with the ability to achieve deadlines. Valid current driving licence is essential. Be a true team player, a knowledge sharer who works for the benefit of the overall team. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced in managing and responding to tenders and bids. An in-depth knowledge of Funding and Fleet Management solutions Qualified to a degree standard. The ability to analyse and solve problems. Communication - The ability to clearly articulate proposal details and requirements IT SKILLS PROFILE: Strong IT skills to include, Microsoft office suite.
