The job holder is required to hold a relevant TRACK SAFETY competence - NO KEY SAFETY Role - YES Key Accountabilities Taking responsibility for all matters affecting business operations Source, screen, interview and select qualified candidates Conduct reference checks and DBS checks where required Build and maintain relationships with candidates and external partners Managing day-to-day activities, analysing statistics and reading and writing reports Feeding back critical information regarding performance, resources, incidents, accidents etc. to the Director, Office Manager and HSQE Advisors. Collaborate with Project Managers to understand requirements and provide solutions Ensuring effective efficiencies are sought and maintained Managing project costs in collaboration with Project Managers Managing and responding to client queries, problems and complaints Ensuring the management of equipment and PPE issued to and used by staff Ensuring efficient communication and planning with project site teams Undertake performance reviews of all staff under their control Sentinel / NSAR Carry out Pre-Sponsorship checks of individuals prior to engagement Issue Letters of De-sponsorship as required Health assessment requirements are identified and implemented The skills/competency matrix is maintained correct Identifies training & medical requirements and arranges for personnel to attend Arranges drug & alcohol screenings when required Shall regularly review the Sentinel Database and update it as required Familiarise themselves with the Sentinel Scheme Rules Responsible for arranging TVP’s where required Running ad-hoc reports on Sentinel Attend regular meetings where health and safety issues can be discussed Details of accidents or dangerous occurrences are reported to the Director Meeting and greeting delegates and members of the public (if required) Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications Essential Knowledge of relevant railway standards and rules Effective communicator at all levels Experience of working as an Internal Recruiter in a demanding railway environment Works well under pressure Able to meet client needs and demands on a 24/7 basis Ability to delegate while remaining accountable for actions Good understanding of railway Sentinel and associated competency levels IT-literate in standard MS packages Eye for detail Financial planning and budget control Please click the 'Apply' button to submit your application.
