EKC Training are seeking to appoint supply lecturers to their approved staffing list. To respond to demand from the community and from employers we need flexible people looking for hourly-paid teaching and training roles who want to make a difference to our community in the following skills areas: English Maths ESOL ICT and 'Get Into Courses' in the following: Retail Admin Hospitality Childcare Health & Social care Are you able to make a difference within to your local community? This could be a great step towards a career with us as a group. We have a history of our Supply Lecturers being successful in further roles within our group. As a Supply Lecturer you will; teach, train and assess students in your subject specialism(s) ensure a high-quality learning experience provide support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential Please note that our Supply Lecturers are paid £18 per hour worked and if planning and admin is required, a further half an hour may be claimed per hour of teaching. £135 per day is therefore for rate for 5 hours teaching with 2.5 hours of planning and admin. A ny addition to the approved staffing list is not a guarantee of employment or hours of work. About You The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention this will be a vital part of the role and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programs and/or courses from Entry Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
