This manufacturing business are experts in what they do, with a tier 1 client base in their industry, they are recognised as a genuine top-tier supplier to some of the biggest household names in the country. Due to an employee on maternity leave and some additional upcoming changes, they are seeking an Accounts Assistant that will initially take control of the accounts receivable ledger, with the potential for the role to become permanent and work more as a support to the wider team with responsibility of the accounts payable.
Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller
Their Accounts Receivable ledger is a ledger that involves account managing the customers as apposed to old school credit collection. Their customers are all long standing customers, who all have their agreed terms that they stick to. This role will be managing monies that is paid, upholding relationships and managing the administration of the ledger. The administration is simple in process, however does have daily use of pivot tables and v look ups on excel.
With the positional for the role to develop, change and be made permanent for the right candidate, you will also need to be able to assist with other areas in accounts, including having significant exposure to a purchase ledger.
