Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a Complementary Therapist to provide therapies such as reflexology, massage and aromatherapy which will enrich the lives of our residents at Conway Group Healthcare.
Hours –3 days per week.
Salary – Attractive remuneration
Location - Various locations across Northern Ireland.

About The Role
The role:
-Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of complementary therapies for our residents throughout the year.
-Take a holistic approach to care and build trusting relationships with our residents to help boost relaxation, relieve anxiety, and increase their health and well-being.
-Therapy activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences.
⁃ Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
- Share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal conversations.
-Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one therapies are provided to our residents.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 5 years’ experience is essential.
Must be dual qualified in a range of complementary therapies including reflexology, massage & aromatherapy and hold relevant qualifications such as VCTC, ITEC, City & Guilds or equivalent.
Hold a professional practitioner indemnity insurance.
Can provide evidence of continual professional development.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
Requires an adaptable and flexible approach to meet with the needs of the service.
Able to participate in the development of complementary therapies.
