About The Role
We have an opportunity for a Housekeeping and Hospitality Assistant to join our housekeeping department based at Galanos House, Cromer. In this role, you will contribute to the wellbeing and confidence of residents by offering social companionship and providing excellent standards of visitor service, maximizing their enjoyment of the care home and associated facilities and activities. You will keep the environment safe for yourself and others by undertaking a varied range of housekeeping tasks to ensure the highest standards of presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Working to a set routine within a high-performing team, you will ensure that all areas of the Home are cleaned with reference to universal precautions to control infection, and relevant records maintained accordingly.
This role is 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends and bank holidays.
Galanos House:
Galanos House is a CQC Outstanding Care Home, and we continually strive to improve and innovate, working alongside the people that live in the home. It’s where our residents can form special bonds and make new like-minded friends. We’re pleased to be able to offer both nursing and residential care in the main home and support for people living with dementia in Poppy Lodge. Adjacent to the main building is the Galanos community hub, which boasts a beautiful light and spacious café and a number of multipurpose spaces that host groups, activities & events.
