Position Overview:
The Warehouse Assistant will closely support the Warehouse Manager in completing various tasks to maintain the day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, receiving goods and ensuring the right quantities are received; storing and putting away products within designated areas; and picking, packing, and distributing goods to specified destinations. They will also work closely with our install division and support the filling and unloading of materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse:
o Unload, load, and process products in a safe manner.
o Ensure waste is correctly and sustainably disposed of.
o Maintain the warehouse to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health & safety policies.
o Complete forklift maintenance check sheets daily and report any faults to the Warehouse Manager.
o Conduct stock checks when required and take actions such as obtaining more stock or delivering to a suitable destination.
2. Team Relationships:
o Build strong working relationships with all staff.
o Foster a collaborative and cross-functional working environment.
3. Facilities Management:
o Assist with site opening and closing.
o Support with ad-hoc site refurbishments and décor touch-ups.
4. Ethics, Corporate Compliance & Sustainability:
o Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy, and ethical standards.
o Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and interact with colleagues and customers accordingly.
o Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by the Company.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Valid full driving licence.
* Experience in stock control.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
* Forklift licence or willingness to complete.
* First Aid trained or willingness to complete.
* Able to safely carry out the physical requirements of the position: lifting weight up to 30kg.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously.

Successful position holders will be subject to:
* Basic Disclosure & Barring Service Check (renewed every three years).
* Driving Licence check (to meet business travel requirements).
* Health & Safety training - Lone Worker, Manual Handling.
* Fire Warden training.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
