Reed Talent Solutions are working with Cadent Gas on the search for 2 Risk Assessors. You’ll join a growing team in a fast-paced Dispatch Centre. You’ll be an essential member of the team, supporting the management and control of fatigue risk. You’ll be ensuring staff do not carry out safety critical activities in circumstances when they are fatigued or do not meet the required health and safety standards. Job title: Risk Assessor Location: Ansty Park - Coventry (on-site full time) Contract: Temporary worker via Reed, with the opportunity to go permanent in the future Hourly pay rate: £13.74 per hour Shift: 8 week rotating pattern covering Monday-Sunday and a mixture of 16:00-00:00 and 18:00-02:00 shifts Start date: within 4 weeks of application Recruitment process: telephone interview with Reed (competency based and situational based judgement) and an on-site assessment centre with Cadent Gas (date to be confirmed) Duration: temporary ongoing What does a day in the life of a Risk Assessor with Cadent Gas look like? You’ll be working in a high-pressure environment with a high volume of outbound calls to complete fatigue risk assessments. You’ll be managing a series of questions which will identify the right course of action to eliminate risk. You’ll escalate to supervisors with any non-compliances. And you’ll be the first point of escalations in respect of workload and Engineer Fatigue management, supporting the leadership team with resilience events.
