About the team
This hybrid role, based in our London office, will be pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing operational efficiencies within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, product operations, and analytics, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges. S/he will report to and work closely with the VP of Product Operations and Special Projects, and the Chief Product Officer of WorldPay.
What you'll own
WorldPay is undergoing a big growth transformation and pivot to product-led growth. The Product Operations team is a highly visible, cross-functional, and strategic team, charged with transforming the Product organization to enable this shift.
1. Drive the execution of high-impact strategic projects e.g., embed data-driven objectives and key results, build self-serve data dashboards for Product Management leadership, enable executives to make capital allocation decisions with the right data and insights, roll out of a roadmap tool with consistent data model across the business.
2. Embed business case discipline throughout the Product organization, working closely with VP+ level stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Finance, and business areas.
3. Extract insights from disparate datasets across the business (e.g., financial, product, technical, sales/customer) and surface actionable recommendations to shape product strategy and roadmaps.
4. Support in preparing materials for CPO internal and external presentations, working closely with VP+ stakeholders across the organization to pull together materials, conduct analysis, verify data, continuously improve deliverables.
5. Support Inorganic Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with Strategy and M&A teams on potential product acquisitions and partnerships.
What you bring
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience in management consulting.
3. Experience in product operations, special projects, or strategic finance is desired.
4. Proven track record of managing special projects from inception to completion.
5. Strong skills in wrangling data from finance, sales, customer operations/support, GTM, and product teams to tell inspiring stories and enable data-driven decision making.
6. Strong communicator capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority across the organization.
7. Strong project management skills.
