Are you a passionate and dedicated music educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a supportive and dynamic school environment? We are seeking a temporary Music Teacher to join our vibrant team in Chorley for the period from 22nd April 2025 until 22nd July 2025.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across various year groups.
* Plan and execute music curriculum content, ensuring it meets the national standards and individual student needs.
* Encourage creativity and self-expression in students, fostering a love for music and the arts.
* Support extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, musical performances, and clubs.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
* Contribute to the school’s music department and wider community.
Qualifications:
* A qualified Music Teacher with experience in teaching music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and music theory.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Passion for music education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A DBS check will be required.
