The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing high-quality field-based technical expertise. The main element of this role will be to provide this high level of field-based support directly to customers within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out repairs, on-site commissioning, service, and calibration of customer's inline inspection equipment to the stated processes and procedures.
2. Provide on-site customer training where required.
3. Handle on-site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner.
4. Adapt to all types of environments and comply with local client's health and safety regulations.
5. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with company procedures.
6. Cooperate by working overtime as required.
7. Participate in the on-call standby rota system as necessary.
8. Learn a diverse set of products and continually improve product knowledge.
To be successful in this role of Field Service Engineer, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
1. Good Technical Electrical / Electronics skills.
2. Minimum ONC or similar qualification in electromechanical / electrical engineering.
3. Ideally, experience in a field service role and familiarity with all aspects of customer service including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
4. PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware is an advantage.
