Impact
To help manage and track Frive's inventory to ensure there are no stockouts and that material is available at all times to produce our amazing food. To manage forecasted sales and production levels for materials that are needed. This includes tracking inventory delivery performance and response time, as well as capacity planning and other logistics projects.
Responsibilities
* Planning Material Supply and Demand to support inventory requirements.
* Monitor Cook and Delivery Cycles.
* Manage the MRP process including lead time, MOQ and stock out thresholds.
* Network and build relationships with the operational and supply chain teams.
* Use software to coordinate deliveries.
* Manage the MRP / Supply Chain ERP system data for Operations.
* Prepare detailed reports relating to MRP, back orders, and schedules.
* Engage in continuous improvement as it relates to processes and material availability.
* Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts.
* Manage the transactional side of the role, Purchase orders, delivery notes and Invoice matching and management.
Requirements
* Must have previous proven commercial work experience as a Supply Chain Material Planner or very similar role (preferably within food manufacturing).
* Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
* An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
* Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time management.
* Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
* Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp or Trello).
* Excellent communication skills–both written and verbal.
* Ability to articulate complex concepts.
* Analytical skills.
* MS Office, spreadsheets, database management, ERP.
* Planning skills.
* Leadership skills.
* Adaptability.
Desirable
* BSc in Business Administration or related field.
* PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
* MRP Experience.
* Be an ambassador for change.
* Experience budgeting.
* Negotiation skills and conflict management.
