Your Role at Norwood:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Guiding and supporting individuals in their day-to-day activities.
2. Encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
3. Accompanying individuals to routine appointments.
4. Teaching essential life skills like budgeting, shopping, and managing bills.
5. Assisting with personal care and, if required, administering medication.
6. Contributing to household tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
As a Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day support including:
1. Helping the people we support to be independent and live a fulfilling life.
2. Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
3. Accompanying the people we support to routine appointments.
4. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, shopping and paying bills.
5. Assisting with personal care and administering medication (if required).
6. Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning & cooking.
