Job Opportunity: Temporary Science Technician

Location: Rawtenstall, Lancashire
Working hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organise materials and equipment for practical science lessons.
Assist teachers in the demonstration and setup of experiments, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Maintain an orderly and safe laboratory environment, handling chemicals, biological samples, and other scientific materials.
Manage and monitor stock levels, performing basic maintenance on lab equipment when required.
About You:
A background in science (A-levels or equivalent qualification required; further education or experience in a scientific field is a plus).
Experience working in a laboratory or educational setting is desirable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
An understanding of health and safety protocols in a laboratory environment.
