Im currently recruiting for a rents and service charge officer for a housing provider based within Surrey on a temporary basis for around four months with a view to extend.
Job:Rent & Service Charge Officer
Type:Contract ( 4 Months with a view to extend)
Location:Hybrid working (Two days on-site)
- 9-5
Main duties:
1. Prepare and send rent and service charges notifications to all residents
2. Ensured leasehold management and service charges are applied accurately and within terms of the leases and current legislation
3. Setting and monitoring rent and service charge income budgets and budgets for all other income including reconciliations of income accounts and income related balance sheet accounts
4. Dealing with queries regarding service charges, including complaints
5. Carry out associated functions to ensure rent and service charge collection is managed efficiently across the business
What are they looking for?
6. A candidate with experience in setting rents in the social housing sector and service charge accountancy.
7. Someone with experience in budget setting, forecasting and experience of the housing sector or property development sector.
8. A candidate with an aptitude for IT and in particular word, Excel and housing management software,
9. Someone with a positive can do attitude
