Role Description
At Orion we are responsible for delivering value to our clients by leveraging relationships with our media partners across all media types. Our unique offering provides our clients with effective media saving solutions for their business needs. The Operations Associate is a key role working to assist the Operations team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the business and supporting the wider Orion team.
This position requires the candidate to be confident, self-reliant, innovative, organised and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the creation of weekly and monthly revenue reports
2. Maintaining the Orion Agency Portal and ensuring information is up to date
3. Supporting the Operations Manager on longer term projects to improve effectiveness and accuracy across the business; including streamlining processes where there are inefficiencies
4. Ensuring accuracy on bookings going into the Orion system and onto DDS by way of regular checks and meetings with the trading team
5. Liaising with the Finance team to ensure accuracy across the billing and reconciliations of traditional and programmatic campaigns
6. Supporting the DDS reconciliation process with Finance and the trading team
7. Assisting with the upkeep of the monthly savings statements and savings release process, including addressable spends
8. Keeping deal summaries up to date including monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy
9. Helping with new supplier and client setups in the Orion system
10. Aiding the trading team and Finance with invoice queries
11. Supporting the Directors in any tasks away from the normal scope of work
12. Assisting with the monthly addressable spend reconciliations
Desired Skills & Experience
13. Strong interest in the media landscape and the various media channels
14. Experience working with data a plus
15. Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
16. Personable with an ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels
17. Able to present ideas cohesively and confidently
18. Extremely competent in Microsoft Office Applications – strong Excel skills is essential
19. Willingness to learn and ability to pick things up quickly
20. Proactive approach to tasks
21. Possess strong organisational skills
