Description Stock & Systems Administrator Shift: Rotational, 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 Duration of contract: full-time, permanent Hours – 40 per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock & Systems Administrator to join the Stock & Systems team at the Middlewich Shared User Site. The role will support both the control room and the stock planning function to ensure full stock control and system readiness for the warehouse operation. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of stock into the Middlewich Distribution Centre and third-party sites as and when required. Key responsibilities include: Monitor, on a real time basis, product movement throughout the warehouse, assessing and correcting potential problems. Ensure physical accuracy of stock held at the DC is always maintained. Monitor quarantines in real time to ensure stock integrity is maintained, including returns. Maintenance of Warehouse Management System to achieve a high level of service. Daily, weekly, and monthly report writing for departments covering all aspects of the stock and file system issues (including RDC). Advise management of problems and shutdowns which may affect operational performance. Plan and direct stock movement from various production sites into Middlewich and other third-party sites as required. Plan and control the transfer of stock between all locations ensuring that the correct date rotations are met, at minimum cost to the customers. Liaise with factories, third-party storage sites and relevant Middlewich based personnel to ensure plans are followed. Effective communication with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the Control Room Team. Maintain accurate stock within Middlewich and other third-party storage sites, when necessary. Essential skills/experience Experience of working within a stocks and systems administrative role/relevant industrial experience. Experience and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Excellent numerical and literacy skills. Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. An analytical mind and attention to detail. Be a self-starter with a positive can-do attitude. Can work autonomously; the ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions based on facts presented. Reliable and flexible approach towards work. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
