Job Description Customer and Product Training Instructor Full-time Derby What you will be doing Aftermarket Operations is at the core of Civil Aerospace's business performance and our Services Control Centre plays a critical role in keeping engines earning and minimising customer disruption. As Customer and Product Instructor, you will report to the On wing and Customer training Manager and you will be responsible for delivering our product training to all customers. Responsibilities You’ll be establishing close relationships with customers and the wider Rolls-Royce team. You’ll create and organise technical content, including videos and app documentation. You’ll deliver training to operators, prospective customers and maintenance bases. You’ll be the subject matter expert and have overall responsibility for designed courses, including technical content accuracy. You’ll have proven ability, product/process knowledge and expertise to work on several related projects, in parallel. Basic Requirements: Preferably a qualified Engineer, typically with a degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience Good PC skills with Microsoft Office systems. Why Rolls-Royce? Experience designing, testing, assembling, supporting or operating aero engines. Ideal candidates will have firsthand experience of maintaining and operating aero engines / aircraft in a commercial environment (ie. Airline or tour operator). Previous experience in a training, lecturing or instructional role would be desirable. Training on the product, immediate R-R organisation and interfaces will be provided where necessary through On-the-Job Training. Instructional and lecturing techniques training will be provided by a combination of On-the-Job Training and formal courses.
