Job Summary
Marriott's Medical Practices have an exciting opportunity to grow our team of patient coordinators and to further develop our progressive team. This will be on a part-time basis of 23.5 hours per week. After 6 months, the salary will increase to £12.00 per hour.
The position will be based across both Taverham Surgery and Bacon Road Medical Centre.
We offer a two-week induction whereby you will have time with our team to gain a good understanding of how the practice operates.
Main Duties of the Job
* Offer general assistance to the practice team & project a positive & friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
* Ensure that all our patients have access to a safe surgery environment.
* Receive, assist, & direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, & effective way.
* Monitor and maintain the reception waiting area ensuring patients are kept informed in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or updates to clinics.
* Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff & other members of the practice team.
* Ensure accurate documentation within patient records via SystmOne.
* Monitor and respond to online communications via our online system, patchs.
About Us
We have a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about providing top quality service to our 13,000 patients across the Bacon Road Medical Centre and Taverham Surgery.
