We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join our clients team based at their site in Sandbach Our client is a large fabrication company that prides itself in being able to offer stable, long term employment in the area. Having been successful year upon year they have formed into an industry leader, becoming the go to fabrication company in the northwest. This role is being offered on a permanent basis, therefore meaning, you'll be employed directly by the client on a permeant contract. What you'll be doing: You'll be responsible for heading up our clients logistics department. You'll be expected to lead and own the safe and efficient operation of the dispatch team and the departments overall operational performance and development. Whilst ensuring 100% compliance with regards to documentation and system entry. Alongside this you'll be required to continuously review the logistics operation to improve efficiency and cost. Our clients work operates on a strick deadline, therefore excellent problem solving and organizational skills are paramount to the success of the role. Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00hrs - 17:00hrs and Friday 07:00hrs - 12:00hrs. Pay: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Weekly pay, every Friday. Experience required: Previous experience as a logistics manager in a production or engineering background required.
