The Job
This position needs an experienced client services professional who understands and has experience in the B2B space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, account management, and project management. The Account Director is responsible for managing and growing client accounts, developing and executing digital marketing strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact.
* Understand clients' business goals, challenges, and needs to provide tailored marketing solutions.
* Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, reports, and strategic recommendations.
Strategy Development:
* Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with clients' objectives.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative and effective marketing campaigns.
Account Growth
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients.
* Work towards expanding the client portfolio and increasing revenue for the agency.
* Develop proposals and presentations to pitch new services and campaigns to clients.
Project Management:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Coordinate with internal teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to deliver exceptional results.
Commercial Focus
* Monitor and manage account budgets and financial performance.
* Ensure all projects are profitable and contribute to the agency's financial growth.
* Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team.
Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with the agency’s team to foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and sharing expertise.
The Ideal Person Will Have
* Proven experience in a B2B client services role, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially driven with a focus on achieving financial targets and growth.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
