About Our Client
Our client is a large public sector organization that provides essential services to the community in Wakefield.
Job Description
3. Processing weekly and monthly payroll for staff.
4. Ensuring accurate and timely submissions of payroll to HMRC.
5. Handling payroll queries and resolving them effectively.
6. Maintaining accurate records of staff leave and sickness absence.
7. Assisting with year-end processes such as P60 distribution.
8. Performing routine audits of payroll procedures and data.
9. Adhering to company policies and regulations at all times.
10. Working closely with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
