Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Loughton Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student Implement engaging and interactive teaching methods to support student learning and progress Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Demonstrated proficiency in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage a caseload of students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a learners home setting with occasional remote teaching Collaborate with other educators and support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
