Job summary This is a whole time NHS vacancy for a Clinical Fellow whose principal duties will be from 6th August 2025 to 3rd February 2026 in the Critical Care Unit at University Hospital Aintree. This post would suit an individual interested in gaining further experience managing a diverse range of critically ill patients with a view to pursuing a career in Critical Care, Anaesthesia, Medicine, Surgery or Emergency Medicine. The successful applicant will work under Consultant supervision at a level best matched to their learning needs and experience. The successful applicant will become part of a dynamic team passionate about delivering the best patient care. There are many opportunities to be involved with teaching, clinical governance, research and quality improvement to strengthen portfolios for applications for training posts. Main duties of the job The post is appointed initially for six months. Extension beyond 6 months is negotiable whilst in post. The successful applicant will work an EWTD compliant full shift rota. Salary will be dependent on the previous point on the salary scale and subject to additional allowances dependent on rota intensity.
