This is a fulltime, permanent post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday (12 hours nights/days).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to join our Vascular team here at QEUH.
You will be working alongside our nursing team providing essential care to our patients with varied Vascular and surgical conditions. In our 28 bedded wards, you will provide care and meet the needs of a wide variety of patients within your remit. You will also be required to rotate to the 7 bedded Vascular annex. This may include complex care needs including pre and post-operative care and early rehabilitation.
A fundamental part of the role is to communicate with the Multidisciplinary team in enhancing the patient journey.
You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and the registered nurses but should be able to work on your own merit supervised by the wider nursing team.
Experience in health or social care would be beneficial. Development will be encouraged as part of your ongoing career with the NHS.
