We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to be based in the Kent area, working with a reputable civil engineering contractor. This contractor deal with all aspects of civil engineering. Therefore, we are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, who ideally has a background within this area. They are keen to work with someone who is equally keen to learn and progress through the business. This could be a very good, long term opportunity for the right person.
Location: Sittingbourne
You will be responsible for:
Assisting a Managing Quantity Surveyor
Assiting in pricing jobs
Collating information for monthly reporting (CVR)
Ensuring all paperwork goes out with the correct items
Dealing with any pricing variations
Responsible for project changes and variationsRequirements:
Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying (although not essential)
Excellent IT and maths skills are essential
Attention to detail
Excellent report writing
Experience in civil engineering
NEC experience (not essential)Benefits:
