Business Change Senior Manager
Location: West Bromwich (Head Office) - Hybrid Working
Salary: c. £70,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week

We are embarking on a major transformation in our Digital & Core Banking space, replacing our core banking platform, introducing a new Digital app and modernising our whole technology estate to meet the digital and product needs of our customers. The Business Change Senior Manager will lead workstreams of delivery of our digital transformation and core banking modernisation (Cloud; Applications, Data and Managed Service).
The Business Change Senior Manager will work alongside the technology Project Managers to ensure that the business readiness activities are planned and executed to support the smooth implementation of the programme within our risk appetite and governance framework.
Key responsibilities are:
* Accountable for planning and delivery of business readiness activities to support the implementation of the technology change programme, this will span multiple functions and business areas
* Design and initiate a range of business readiness activities to ensure high level of business engagement to ensure the new systems and processes are adopted and embedded within the programme.
* Co-ordinate Change Management Impact Assessments against the new Target Operating Model, provide leadership and guidance to change champions across the business to support smooth transition and delivery.
* Design, manage, plan and track business readiness activities processes Work with architecture colleagues as well as business and technical stakeholders to ensure customer and business impacts of proposed changes and solutions are understood
* Design and Plan Change Management activities to drive the required business change and benefits outcomes.
* Provide Change Management expertise and knowledge of models e.g Prosci
* Manage Senior Stakeholders to support Transformation
* Identify, recruit and develop a team of change champions across the business to create advocates for the transformation.
* Collaborate with business areas to support the new behavioural and cultural change, narrating the story with string communication and storytelling capability.
* Management of project resources to develop an effective team
* Strong organisation skills, often juggling multiple priorities, and the ability to command respect from the existing team is imperative
* Development and management of a detailed project schedule and work plan
* Plans, assembles and manages resources required to deliver to the objectives and scope
* Tracks project progress and costs in order to meet objectives, scope and budget
* Proactively manages change to project scope via change control
* Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
* Creates and maintains RAID logs identifying risks / issues and risk management options
* Provides project updates to Stakeholders, Project Team & PMO on progress and risks
Key Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in delivery financial services projects
* Proven experience in delivering projects employing both Agile and Waterfall based methodologies
* Change Management certification such as Prosci; APMG
* Project Management certification PRINCE2, Scrum
* Experience with managing budgets
* Delivery and results focused, with the ability to build and manage client / customer relationships
* Ability to report to steering committees comprised of senior executives
* Ability to analyse complex problems in a structured manor whilst under pressure
* Desire to build effective working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
* Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Flexible and approachable team-worker
* Good understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations as part of project delivery
* Passion and enthusiasm for all things people change
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
* Experience of delivering and leading business change workstreams within a transformation programme
* Change Management knowledge and expertise
* Responds quickly and decisively to tackle issues, highlights trends in engagement data and is effective at deploying countermeasures to resolve.
* Strong project management skills with a desire to deliver to time; cost and quality.
* Outstanding leadership and organisational skills
* Experience in large scale, multinational Agile delivery and with skills to navigate ambiguity
* Understanding of technology for example Cloud; Applications, Data and Managed Service to translate to business users.
