To play a key role in the marketing function across the What Else Events portfolio, including existing events, event launches and the What Else Events brand, with a 30-word summary of the job description.
This role suits an experienced Marketing Executive with an entrepreneurial mindset or a Marketing Manager looking for a new challenge in an ambitious, growing business.
Manage end-to-end marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engage audiences and maximise retention, primarily growing existing events with additional support for new launches.
* Execute campaign planning, copy and creative production, implementation and performance tracking for existing events.
* Leverage marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising, content marketing and partnerships to reach target audiences.
* Create promotional emails, manage social media, and design promotional materials and adverts.
* Keep the website up-to-date with event content, write clear copy, and support partner marketing initiatives.
* R**esearch competitor and market trends, and process data within CRM and email marketing platforms.
* Support research and insight projects, develop on-site marketing assets, and work at events.
Must-have skills:
* Work independently, meeting project deadlines.
* Have a keen interest in marketing, marketing technology, live events, and marketing analytics.
* Be able to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail.
* Have excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Canva.
* Have a good understanding of social media and email marketing tools.
Qualification/Experience:
* Minimum two years' experience in events marketing.
* GCSE or equivalent – English and Mathematics at grade B/7 or above.
* Level 4 or above business or marketing qualification (preferred).
