Job Title: Human Factors Engineer-Safety
Location: Barrow in Furness, Frimley, Filton, Manchester

What you'll be doing:
1. Provide technical direction to engineers
2. Support the development of individuals and teams to enhance skills and competencies, such that technical capability objectives are fully achieved
3. Undertake assessments of functional design and/or provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety
4. Support the Delivery of safety Cases
Your skills and experiences:
1. CEng or equivalent level of capability, Degree in Human Factors or Psychology
2. Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports
3. Previous experience of influencing and managing stakeholders at different levels

The Human Factors team:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Human Factors team-Safety here at BAE Systems. You will be joining a wider team of 17 professionally minded individuals who strive for best practice and champion an outstanding internal culture. You'll have the responsibility of managing 2-3 direct reports at varied levels. The team operates across different areas of safety within the Human Factors remit, which enables variety in the day-to-day business.
