Head of OD & Change Pay Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35) Organisation: Rotherham Council Job Type: Temporary - Initial 3 months Rotherham Council are seeking a forward-thinking, proactive, and dynamic Head of OD & Change. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our workforce approaches, ensuring high performance and alignment with our core values and behaviours. Day-to-day of the role: Lead the Council’s OD and Change team within the Assistant Chief Executive’s directorate, supporting an ambitious and wide-ranging change programme. Work collaboratively with service leads while providing assurance to the Strategic Leadership Team. Drive continuous improvement across the organisation by ensuring that managers and individuals are engaged, developed, and supported in their roles. Handle responsibilities across various service priorities including organisational development, organisational change, employee engagement, EDI, learning and development, and Health and Social Care workforce transformation. Build relationships and forge strong, robust partnerships with senior officers across the council and with external partners. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head of OD & Change or similar role, preferably within a complex and challenging environment. Demonstrated ability to inspire trust and confidence among senior leaders. Strong technical knowledge in organisational development and change management. Experience in employee engagement, EDI, learning and development, and related fields. Experience in the public sector is advantageous but not essential.
