Job Description
Our client is seeking to hire a Director, People Partnerships, and Employee Relations to join their Global People Team. This team enables the organization to unleash the full potential of its workforce and culture, which, in turn, supports the company’s strategic and operational goals.
This is a 100% remote role based in the United Kingdom. Applicants must reside in the UK to be considered for this position.
Reporting to the Senior Director, People Partnerships, this role will provide strategic HR leadership to a segment of key business functions and partner directly with designated senior leaders. The role encompasses strategy and thought leadership in employee relations, engagement, inclusion, and talent acquisition.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UK employment law, a strong business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with senior leaders to develop and deliver People Strategies aligned with business goals.
* Provide management information and summaries of employee engagement and relations trends, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements as needed.
* Drive OKRs and key metrics related to turnover, retention, and diversity in collaboration with COEs.
* Advise on organizational design and development strategies to achieve business objectives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and Talent Acquisition to forecast talent needs and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
* Research and implement best practices to enhance people processes and sustain key initiatives.
* Support and provide backup for the Americas People Team when necessary.
* Drive and document change management processes while optimizing efficiencies with automation and COE support.
* Leverage data to inform decision-making and improve team effectiveness.
* Champion company values and cultural norms, highlighting and celebrating values-oriented behaviors.
* Partner with leadership and the Talent Development & Culture team to design and deliver impactful learning and development initiatives.
* Support DEI and Social Impact programs, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
Essential:
* 10+ years of HR strategic leadership in multicultural and geographically dispersed environments, including remote workforces.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on tactical execution.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
* Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and relevant regulations.
* Experience in employee relations and organizational design.
* Technologically savvy, with experience using HRIS, ATS, and employee engagement platforms.
* Strong data literacy and decision-making abilities.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior leadership.
* Expertise in negotiations, project management, conflict resolution, and change management.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or MCIPD Qualified.
* Membership in professional HR organizations (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
Preferred:
* Certification in psychometric tools such as Enneagram, MBTI, or Insights.
