748CW Document Controller Sizewell C, Suffolk Full-time, Office based, hybrid working available Job Title: Document Controller Description & Background: Sizewell C (SZC) is one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, at the forefront of the UKs climate change agenda and energy policy. Following the success of Hinkley Point C, SZC is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk that has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Responsibilities: • Provide professional, accurate, and reliable administration support to the DMT Department • Manage, capture, control, store, and disseminate all relevant current and historical documentation within SZC • Log and quality assure incoming and outgoing documents and communications • Support the integration of NNBs document management system with wider information management needs • Comply with SZCs approved processes and procedures • Champion best practice Document Management within the team • Maintain focus on continuous improvement in Document Management Teams performance, processes, and procedures • Produce and interpret management reports on performance • Study latest industry developments and best practice in document control • Represent the Document Management Team in meetings Experience Required: • Document Control experience in a complex stakeholder environment (desirable) • Experience of working in a project environment, delivering against set objectives and milestones • Understanding of quality assurance process applicable to document control • Strong awareness of effective record keeping • Knowledge of filing systems and distribution matrices • Awareness of document, data, and information management in large-scale capital projects • Good understanding of Electronic Document and Record Management Systems • Strong competence in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to influence and promote the role of Document Management • No formal qualifications required, but must demonstrate a good standard of general education Location: • Based in Suffolk office with hybrid working available Salary Hours: • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday • Competitive Salary based on experience This is an opportunity to join an expanding team working on a significant infrastructure project crucial to the UKs energy future.
