We are seeking an individual with strong leadership, planning, organising and problem-solving skills. You will be knowledgeable of Building Regulations and Housing Standards and have proven leadership experience of a professional surveying team. This is a fantastic role with package to suit.

The Senior Building Surveyor role:
* Engages with the Client, Residents & Stakeholders to understand and manage a range of complex housing needs. Following this you will continually provide professional advice and guidance and practical, cost-effective solutions.
* Provides regular reports to the Commercial Manager, Director of Operations and Executive team as necessary.
* Works closely with the commercial & operational teams to ensure alignment of objectives to deliver consistent quality and value for money.
* Oversees and manages the technical and regulatory aspects of contracts.
* Manages, develops and leads a multi-disciplinary team of Building and Compliance Surveyors, providing leadership and direction to the technical team.
What will you bring as a Senior Building Surveyor?
* Degree, professional qualification or equivalent MRICS or MCIOB an advantage, ILM Level 4 an advantage.
* Good technical writing, pre and post contract experience, knowledge of CDM, Building Regulations & Housing standards.
* Proven experience gained from within the FM, housing or Construction industry/Project management experience.
* Ability to motivate, coach and mentor a high performing team – leadership & people development experience.
* Ability to build relationships with the Client, Residents & Stakeholders to ensure their sometimes-conflicting priorities are managed to deliver the desired outcome. Excellent communication skills are a must.
