Salary: Pay: £34,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager or an experienced Team Leader to support the Registered Manager in delivering the highest standard of care in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
Role Overview:As aDeputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the children's home. You will support the management team in leading staff, overseeing care delivery, and ensuring that each child's needs are met in accordance with regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management and leadership of the children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support for each child.
* Support the Registered Manager in ensuring that the home is compliant with Ofsted regulations and meets all safeguarding and welfare standards.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Assist in developing and reviewing individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are being met.
* Work with families and professionals to coordinate care, providing a holistic approach to supporting the children.
* Assist in managing the day-to-day operations, including budgeting, health and safety, and record-keeping.
* Help promote a positive and safe environment, where children feel valued and supported.
* Step in as the acting Registered Manager when needed.
What We're Looking For:
* A Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Required)
* Full UK Driving Licence (Required)
* Experience working in a residential childrens home, with at least 12 months in a senior role.
* Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Passion for working with children and young people, ensuring their well-being and development.
* A positive, empathetic, and solution-focused approach to care and management.
