Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our team at Palm Coffee Lounge. We are looking for someone who can bring their flair and creativity to the role, helping us to establish a unique culinary identity. Responsibilities: Collaborate to design and update the menu, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and roast dinners, ensuring high quality and consistency. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor portion control and minimize waste to maximize profitability. Stay informed about food industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the menu. Requirements: Proven experience as a chef in a similar role, with a passion for culinary creativity and excellence. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation skills. Strong understanding of health and hygiene procedures Carefully managing orders to maintain gross profits. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
