Teacher of Science Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity for Key Stage 5 for experienced teachers. Develop and assess students' understanding, providing feedback and support where necessary. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in departmental meetings and school events. Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum. Requirements for a Science Teacher: A passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring students. Strong classroom management skills. The ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively. A degree in Science or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome). Previous experience working as a Science Teacher in a secondary school.
