Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Lancaster Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £13.75 - £15.00 Per hour Job Duties: As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support teachers in the classroom. This includes assisting with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and providing additional support to students. You will work closely with teachers to ensure a conducive learning environment and help students with their educational development. Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths Previous experience working in a school setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Education: A Level or equivalent qualification is required. Additional training or certification in education or childcare is desirable. Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a school environment as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational principles and practises Ability to assist with classroom management Good organisational skills Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent is preferred. Working Conditions: This is a temporary, full-time position with the possibility of extension. You will be working in a school environment, collaborating closely with teachers and students. The role may involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and participating in school events and trips.
