Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor Drive Success on a £30M Commercial New Build Project in Hertfordshire!

Package: £35,000 - £45,000 plus £4,500 Car Allowance + Travel

With a growing pipeline of work, they are seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
You will play a vital role in delivering a £30m Commercial New Build project in Hertfordshire, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure its success.
What You’ll Do:
1. Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor to keep the project on track and within budget.
2. Assist in preparing and submitting monthly CVRs and progress reports.
3. Help manage project valuations and cash flow, optimising value at every stage.
4. Contribute to the development of strategies while maintaining contractual obligations.
5. Gain hands-on experience in final account negotiations with main and subcontractors.
About You:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
* Experience in large-scale new build or specialist projects (commercial a bonus!).
* Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop your career in the construction industry.
* Strong communication and organisational skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.
