£50k - £80k basic (depending on experience), plus commission, plus car allowance.
Location - Suitable for anyone in the UK, willing to visit the UK office typically once per week / fortnight.
The Ideal Candidate
Candidates should have extensive experience in selling electronic products or components into Tier 1 or Tier 2 manufacturing companies, for example aerospace, defense, high level instrumentation suppliers or OEM electronics manufacturers, that have a requirement for PCBAs and/or full box build, ideally with subcontracted supply of production electronics experience.
Candidates will also either have electronic engineering qualifications or have enough on the job experience to be able to speak to purchasers and engineers about electronic assembly’s with confidence and credibility.

This role is all about generating new business, the focus of the role will be using your knowledge and experience to identify opportunities and to convert into new business. The focus will very much be about being out there in the market rather than getting bogged down with back office admin!
This role is also not about winning everything out there, its about being able to assess an opportunity and decide whether it is a good fit for our client. They want to win high quality business that compliments their high quality service and offerings, enabling them to provide best in class service to the customer.

Essential Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a proven track record of acquiring new business that is both profitable and on-going
* Proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract award.
* Experience in market research and analysis, with the ability to report findings effectively.
* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Ability to identify and acquire new qualified leads in both current and new markets.
* Sales Management: Skilled in managing opportunities from lead, RFQ to contract award.
* Bid Management: Experience in contributing to bid management and analysing reasons for wins and losses.
* Sales Forecasting: Capable of providing realistic sales order forecasts with supportive evidence.
* Customer Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills to instigate and manage meetings with potential and current customers, both on-site and off-site.
* Event Participation: Willingness to attend customer meetings, company exhibitions and trade events, and assist with event planning.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Professional certifications in sales or business development (e.g., Certified Business Development Professional) are advantageous.
* Market Analysis: Proficient in undertaking market research and analysis, and providing insightful reports.
* Social Media Utilization: Proficient in using social media for selling opportunities, networking, and building business relationships
