* This is a business-critical hire – responsible for leading two of our clients most strategically important customer accounts.

* This account management role is ideal for individuals who have experience of managing relationships with either the UK’s grocery retailers, or the UK’s leading food service end users.
* Home based role with two days a week in Cambridgeshire.
The role:
* The successful Account Manager will assume the lead role and point of contact for two £multi-million customer relationships.
* As the lead category supplier, you will regularly liaise with customer contacts across various functions, to ensure the highest customer service levels are continually achieved.
* You will drive innovation, from concept to launch, through category driven insights to deliver the next ‘first on shelf’ products for your specified customer.
* You will also develop the strategy and implement existing JBP’s.
* You will report to the business on revenue, product trends, customer trends, competitor activity etc.
Ideal candidate:
* You will currently be or have recently been an Account Manager within food or beverage manufacturing.
* You will demonstrate an effective project management skillset and be familiar with cross-functional working.
* A passion for innovation, and the ability to creatively discuss new concepts with customers is advantageous.
* You will have a ‘hands on’ approach to your work, wanting to be involved with trials and marketing activity to ensure they’re to a high standard.
* In addition, you will have experience of leading trade shows and exhibitions and developing sales strategies.
* It is essential that you can demonstrate a proven track record of forming and building strong long-lasting relationships along with excellent customer service.
* With high levels of attention to detail you will boast superb time management and organisational skills.
* It is essential to have excellent IT skills across Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with good data analysis skills.

Benefits & details:
* Salary is £50k to £60k plus car or car allowance, bonus and benefits
* Role is home based with travel to customers and two days a week in the head office
* Must have a full valid driving licence
