Our client, a well-established multi-office law firm, is recruiting for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join their busy Private Client Team based in Braintree. Our client is committed to providing excellent customer service. If you’re an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary, then we would like to hear from you; both full and part-time considered.
The Role:
1. Providing typing and administration support to one or more lawyers
2. Audio typing (BigHand)
3. Opening and closing files
4. Diary management, preparing lawyers for external meetings
5. Carrying out money laundering and ID checks
6. Typing of legal documents, Wills, LPA’s, Estate Accounts
7. Witnessing wills
8. Liaising with Clients, Solicitors, Barristers Chambers
9. Attending client meetings
10. Preparing conference room
11. Providing support to other secretaries as and when required
12. Assisting with preparation of invoices
13. Taking credit card payments
14. Booking events, training, etc.
The Candidate:
1. You will possess recent Private Client Experience
2. Experience with all Microsoft Office packages, excellent Audio Typing skills
3. The ability to work to tight deadlines
4. Attention to detail
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Strong organisational skills
7. Excellent communication skills and a team player
