Do you enjoy social situations? Are you a good, patient communicator able to help someone develop their confidence and expand their social circle and friendships? Then I would love to hear from you!
Job Purpose:
I am seeking a proactive and assertive Personal Assistant who can take the lead in organizing and planning various aspects of my personal life. This includes helping me navigate dating and relationships, as well as planning activities and outings, particularly when I’m unsure of what I want to do. I would like someone who can suggest places or events where young people go out and support me to become more confident and outgoing.
The ideal candidate would be self-confident and naturally encouraging, with a bubbly and positive personality who can support me in social situations to overcome my anxiety and help me to become more socially active. My goal is to have the self-confidence to try new experiences, visit new places, and even start dating. I am looking for someone who has the life skills and experience to help facilitate this.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Support: Assist in building my confidence in situations, particularly in dating and relationships with men. Offer guidance and encouragement to help me be more outspoken and comfortable in conversations.
2. Communication Coaching: Help me improve my communication skills, offering tips and advice on how to express myself more confidently and effectively.
3. Travel Planning and Companion: Assist in planning trips and accompany me on travels outside the city. This includes researching destinations and bookings.
4. Demonstrate understanding, empathy, and patience with a positive attitude.
5. Have experience in personal development and coaching.
6. A love for travel and adventure, with the flexibility to accompany me on trips.
7. Maintain discretion and professionalism in handling personal matters.
About the Employer:
I have Autism which sometimes affects the way I communicate, particularly in situations where people may not be familiar with how I process information. I occasionally find it challenging to communicate effectively with others who may not understand my communication style. I love art, going to theatres, and enjoying drinks in Newcastle. I also love yoga and being outdoors.
You will support me to develop confidence in social situations by helping me increase my social circle and attend activities of my choosing. You will work with me to reduce anxiety in new situations.
Activities may include going to the pub and shopping.
Note: This vacancy will close as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed.
At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
