Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support: Provide high-quality support to teachers in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons, ensuring the effective engagement of all students.
2. Small Group Instruction: Conduct small group sessions to reinforce learning objectives and provide targeted support to students who may need additional assistance.
3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assist in the assessment of students' progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall evaluation of student performance.
4. Behavioural Support: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies and supporting the social and emotional development of students.
5. Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate with teachers to enhance the curriculum, bringing creativity and innovation to the learning experience.
6. Parental Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing concerns collaboratively.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Level 3 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
7. Experience: Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally at a higher level, demonstrating a strong understanding of classroom dynamics.
8. Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practices.
9. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
10. Initiative: The ability to work independently and take initiative, contributing positively to the overall educational environment.
11. Flexibility: A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of the school and its students.
