About the Role
Larks Hill Junior and Infant School will be offering a child care wrap around service to support our families commencing in April on return from the Easter holidays.
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, hardworking and committed After School Club Supervisors to join Larks Hill Junior and Infant School. The candidate will be responsible for providing a welcoming, stimulating, safe environment for children aged 4 – 11 attending the after-school club, assisting in the day-to-day organisation of after-school club including preparing a small snack and setting up simple activities for pupils.
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic people who:
* are proficient in managing safeguarding and behaviour
* have the ability to form effective relationships with pupils and parents/carers
* have a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils
* will make a difference in changing children’s life chances
* have the skills and abilities to support children of all abilities and personal needs
* can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative
Food Hygiene and First Aid training will be provided and a full induction meeting with the Headteacher will take place before the provision commences.
This is a 13.75 hours per week, term time only, 12 month fixed term contract.
The working pattern is 3:15-6:00pm Monday to Friday (5:45pm pupil pick up Monday – Thursday and 5:30pm pupil pick up on a Friday)
