Main duties of the job
The post holderwill be providing the senior medical leadership to Torbay HTT.
The post holderwill be available 9-5 Monday to Friday. The post holder will be currently basedat Haytor Unit, Torbay Hospital
The post holderwill work within MDT and offer urgent assessment, diagnosis and treatment ofpatients being managed by the Torbay HTT as well as other expert clinicalservices in support of patients and their families/carers as judged necessary.

Qualifications
* Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
* To hold Approved Clinician status at the point of taking up post.

* Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
* Other professional qualification
Management
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and managers.
* Awareness of NHS management and funding arrangements.
* Management training / experience.
* Experience of involvement in service development.
Research
* Ability to interpret published research and to apply research findings to clinical practice.
* Aptitude for and practical experience of research.
Teaching and Supervision

* Prior experience working in a Community Mental Health Team.
