We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of a number of water non-infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Embrace the importance of health and safety in all circumstances, leading by example.
* Ensure the H&S and welfare of yourself, your team, contractors, and consultants. Ensure no harm occurs to customers and members of the public.
* Own projects throughout the project lifecycle from concept to handover and close out.
* Prepare, update, and implement the Project Management Plan whilst proactively monitoring overall progress, interdependencies, and resolving issues/mitigating risks and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
* Be responsible for driving design development, initiating surveys and site visits as necessary in order to write the scope in line with the project business case.
* Undertake ‘Project Manager’ responsibilities under the NEC4 suite of Contracts option A, C and Short Contracts.
* Monitor and control your personal work to ensure outcomes and targets are met.
Requirements:
* Engineering, Construction or Project Management discipline qualification (desirable).
* Chartered or near Chartered with a relevant institution e.g., ICE, IMechE, IET, IChemE, RICS etc.
* Completed and passed the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) course as a minimum qualification and preferably the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) course.
* Demonstrable understanding and experience of working with the CDM regulations.
* Contract and commercial management experience ideally using the NEC suite of Contracts.
* Full UK driving license.
* Strong personality, diligent work ethic and adopts a morally, legally, and socially appropriate manner of behaviour with all team members and stakeholders.
